Well Lookie Here
I finally am working really hard on this website. A few minor tweaks and some more content up and I shall be pretty content with my website. Be sure to check out my photo gallery, I have some new photos up from a trip last weekend to Apple Hill Orchard. Jake enjoyed the tractor ride that took us around the orchard grounds. He made ‘friends’ with two boys, thankfully he didn’t try to hug up all over them this time. He doesn’t quite understand about personal space yet, unless it is someone in his personal space. I also uploaded pictures from a mountain drive we did three or so weeks ago and pictures of Jake in his frog costume from Halloween.
A Good Place
I feel like I am in a good place in my life right now. I am pretty contempt with the way things are going in almost all aspects of my life. Husband and me are doing great, in the past we have had quite a few bumps in the road, but lately the ride is quite smooth. I have a job that I like and enjoy, sure I would love to make my passion for photography into a job, but for now I am liking where I am. I have a wonderfully superb son, he puts the biggest smile on my face. I love where I live, this home just feels so .. well … homey. There are a few things I am not totally happy about, mainly being my health and weight. I have been trying to find motivation to get into shape but there is just non to be found. I am neither gaining weight or loosing weight so it could be worse.
Other wise things are very good. I was always looking on the other side of the pasture, supposdly the grass is greener on that side? But then I realized that if I stopped dwelling on and truly opening my eyes I would see all the good things that are right in front of my face.
I Meant To
I meant to get a full layout up and put up content and post more. Really I did mean to but when inspiration is dead, inspiration is dead. I have found a small bit of inspiration. I am going to hold onto it for dear life and not let that little sucker go away
The elections went the way I was hoping, that’s all I am going to say there. I did early voting last Thursday so I didn’t get to experience the excitement and anticipation of waiting in line likes those who voted yesterday. I was pretty much in and out of the voting place when I went. I hope this is a right step forward into a new and better future. We can’t know fully for sure how things but I am going to keep my head up and hope for the best. I put my trust and prayers in Obama (and thus I said more than I planned but I just couldn’t help myself).
Halloween was decent. Halloween night Jake, my mom and I went out and visited some family and the day after husband Jake and I went up to my in-laws campground for their Halloween thing. Jake didn’t fully understand what was going, all he knew was he had a bunch of suckers and chocolate and so he was happy. He was cute in the frog costume I got for him online. Pictures followed.
